What do I need to bring to class?

YOGA MAT.  If you have a yoga mat, you are welcome to bring one.  We do have spare mats and you are welcome to use one of these, though you may like to buy your own so you can practice at home too.

BLANKET. Some people like to use a blanket during deep relaxation, especially during the winter months.

YOGA BLOCK.  We have some foam yoga blocks, which can be a useful aid for some students.  If you have your own feel free to bring it along.

CUSHIONS AND PILLOWS.  When sitting for pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation at the end of the class, its helpful to sit on a cushion - feel free to bring your own.  For some classes such as Pregnancy Yoga, or Gentle Yoga, a pillow can also be a useful aid during deep relaxation.

What shall I wear?

We recommend comfortable, loose clothing which allows a range of movement.  Skirts are not suitable.  Leggings, tracksuit bottoms or other loose fitting trousers are fine, not jeans.  You may wish to bring socks and a jumper or sweatshirt to cover up at the end of class.  Shoes are not required, we do yoga in bare feet.

How much does it cost?

Class costs vary according to venue and duration.  Please check the details on the Class Schedule page or visit the Shop for a full list of prices.

Do I need to book?

There is a drop-in class on Tuesday nights at the Fire Station, most other classes require you to book.  Please refer to the full descriptions on the Class Schedule for individual class details and how to book.
