Integral Yoga Classes

Integral Yoga®  is a classical yoga, based on the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda.  It is a physical (hatha) yoga with a spiritual focus.  Everyone is welcome and students are encouraged to work at their own pace.  Each person is actively encouraged to listen to their own body and to focus on their practice as a personal experience.

During the class we use asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), chanting and meditation.  This allows students to explore as many of the eight limbs of yoga as possible within our hatha practice, hence the name Integral Yoga®.  At the end of each class, yoga nidra (deep relaxation) guides us to find the peace that lies within, and which is always accessible, once we know how to find it.

A variety of classes are available, including Multi-Level, Improvers, Pregnancy Yoga and new for 2012 a monthly course in Yogic Philosophy.  See Class Schedule for dates and locations.

Classes are really moving meditations.

The primary focus is on being fully present in the moment

and experiencing the peace which is our true nature.
