Reiki Courses

Reiki is a healing energy which anyone can learn to use, for healing yourself and others. I offer courses in four different frequencies of Reiki, each one higher in vibration than the next.

Reiki can be learned one ‘Degree’ at a time. An explanation of the different degrees is given below. The starting point for learning Reiki is the Usui and Tibetan First Degree.

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning ‘spiritually guided, life force energy’. This energy is around us all the time and becomes available to us when we are ‘attuned’ to the energy by a Reiki Master. The attunement received allows us to channel the Reiki through our palms to heal ourselves and others.

The path of Reiki is also one of personal development as the highly-guided energy permeates all aspects of our lives, helping us to live our highest truth in each moment.

Reiki Frequencies

Usui and Tibetan Reiki: Rediscovered in Japan in the late 1800’s by Dr Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk, this is the most popular form of Reiki currently being practised in the West and is the starting point for the majority of Reiki initiates.

Karuna Reiki: Devised by American Reiki Master William Lee Rand this system contains twelve symbols, many of which are used to activate the subtle bodies. Karuna means ‘compassion in action’. In order to progress to using this frequency students must already have received their Usui and Tibetan Reiki attunements at the appropriate level.

Anubis Reiki: Channelled by Anubis Reiki Master, Valerye Dayton, in 1999, this system anchors in seven, high-vibration Egyptian healing symbols based on sacred geometry. Annubis Reiki was used by Initiates of the Mystery Schools in Ancient Egypt to shift into higher dimensions. Students must first undergo initiation into Karuna, Tibetan and Usui Reiki.

Reiki Degrees (Levels) and Prices

First Degree (Initiate) Course: Learn to channel Reiki energy through your hands to heal self, family and friends. No prior knowledge is required. The course costs £100 and covers:

Attunement to First Degree Reiki
Reiki History and Practical Uses
Hand Positions for Self Healing and Healing Others
The 21-Day Cleansing Process

Second Degree (Practitioner) Course: Increase the power of your Reiki by using ancient symbols and mantras. Learn how to send Reiki through time and space and become a qualified Reiki practitioner. Students must have completed Reiki First Degree. The course costs £150 and covers:

Attunement to Second Degree Reiki
Use of Reiki Symbols and Mantras
Distance Healing

Reiki Master Degree (Teacher or Practitioner) Course: Develop your Reiki healing abilities to the highest level with the knowledge of the Master symbols. As a teacher you will learn how to attune others to Reiki. Students must have completed Reiki Second Degree. The course costs £500 and covers:

Attunement to Master Degree
Use of Master Symbols and Mantras
Practice in Carrying out Attunements
Instructions on Teaching Reiki.
