Meditation is a fundamental part of the Yogic tradition. All asana practice is designed to make the body fit for sitting comfortably. I am available for one-to-one sessions of meditation either combined with a physical yoga practice, or for a purely seated practice.
Meditation also forms part of our Wednesday morning Wise Women's Yoga and Meditation Circle (see timetable on the right). This class includes 20 minutes of silent meditation. We also focus on meditation in much greater depth during our one-day workshops and retreats. Check out the Yoga Retreats and Workshops page for more information.
We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and, by our serenity, make others more tranquil.
