Meditation is a fundamental part of the Yogic tradition. All asana practice is designed to make the body fit for sitting comfortably. Meditation forms part of our Wednesday morning Wise Women's Yoga and Meditation Circle (see timetable on the right). This class includes 20 minutes of silent meditation.
Online Meditation Group: We meet every Thursday on Zoom 7.00-7.45 pm for Guided Meditation and Mindfulness practice. Cost is £5 per session. If you would like the link to join us, let me know. This group is equally suitable for complete beginners and those with an existing practice.
We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and, by our serenity, make others more tranquil.
HH Sri Swami Satchidananda
